Manchester City reached an agreement with Valencia to sign attacking midfielder Ferran Torres. Trading is for a fixed amount of 25 million euros, plus an additional 12 million euros in variables. Several Spanish media published the news on Wednesday. The link with the English club will be for five seasons.

Ferran Torres is due to undergo medical examinations in Barcelona in the coming days, because of health restrictions for those traveling to England, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Because some details are missing, the settlement has not yet been officially announced.

In the season that ended recently, Ferran Torres played 44 games for Valencia, scored six goals, and gave eight assists. The team finished the Spanish Championship in ninth place and was eliminated from the Champions League in the round of 16 by Atalanta.
